The Iowa Lawyers Assistance Program (ILAP) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to helping Iowa’s judges, attorneys and law students obtain treatment for substance abuse, chemical dependency, addiction and mental health issues. ILAP offers this service on a free and confidential basis.

There is no need to risk your license, livelihood, reputation or family. Whatever the problem, you do not have to manage it alone.

ILAP will not disclose the names or any other identifying information of any participant. ILAP has no reporting relationship with any other organization, individual or group. These statewide services are without fee, confidential and open to ALL Iowa attorneys.
